Michele discovered her love for dance at the age of two. Throughout her dancing years, she has studied Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Modern, Lyrical, Irish Step Dance and Zumba. Her love for Tap was greatly inspired by Savion Glover and Gene Kelly. In August 2001, Michele performed in an off-Broadway production of Break the Floor, directed by Gil Stroming. Michele attended class with tap choreographers such as Gil Stroming, Mike Minery and Greg Russel in preparation for this production. Additionally, Michele has studied with modern choreographer Mia Michaels, Hip Hop choreographer Dan Karaty and Irish Step Choreographer Colin Dunne. Michele was a member of the University of Rhode Island Dance Company during her college years, with her emphasis on Tap. Michele continues to explore her love for dance while taking class at Broadway Dance Center and in any way she is allowed to move her tappin' feet! We are thrilled to have Michele on the RDC team for the past ten years.
