Taking time to dance when on a break…

Most of us are on Winter break at this time but that doesn’t mean a break for your body.

Keeping your muscles moving and stretched is very important on a daily basis.

We spend so much time conditioning our bodies and training that yes, even a couple weeks off can undo part of that.

Even if it’s just a simple warm up and a deep stretch your body will thank you for it. Also, this is a great time to work on any choreography you have been working on to make sure it remains in your muscle memory. This will help not only with retention but also polishing your technique.

Set a goal each day to warm up, stretch and dance! The only way to make the most wonderful time of the year even better is to dance through it! And remember if you don’t use it, you lose it.
