What Is studio culture and why does it matter?
Studio culture is basically the “vibe” you feel when you walk in that is created by the studio’s core values.
Do you feel inspired, seen, included and connected when you walk in?
This is the best place to start because if you do not feel connected and aligned with others it is not a place you will want to commit to. Remember that energy never lies.
So, when looking for the best studio for your dancer I highly recommend visiting the space first, it will tell you all you need to know from the start. Go in meet the teachers, Director and staff, ask them what their values are and if they align with your own then you are home.
